TEAM IVDU is proud to be running the ING Miami ½ marathon with TEAM YACHAD. YACHAD enables the students of the Marilyn David IVDU High School, located in Brooklyn, NY, to learn and experience new things each and every day, as well as provides the students with the academic and social capacity to grow, succeed, and eventually make a positive impact in the community.

After putting in much hard work, with both fundraising and training, six incredibly inspiring boys could not be more excited to participate in the ½ marathon!

Preparing for this ½ marathon has required teamwork, dedication, commitment, and discipline. Participating in it is providing a sense of inclusion in something much bigger than any one person can do individually, and it has promoted a sense of accomplishment and achievement. It is giving each boy an opportunity to say, "yes. I can" instead of "no, I can't."
